A solid cast iron umbrella stand in a dark aged finish, with four oval rings radiating from a central turned column, a scrolled decorative crest at the top, and a four-footed claw base with a drip tray. Each piece is made through a traditional sand-casting method - molten iron poured into compacted sand moulds, capturing fine detail and natural texture. Once cooled, the mould is broken away to reveal the solid form beneath.
A handsome and functional piece for an entry hall, verandah or covered outdoor space. Holds four umbrellas or walking sticks. Suitable for outdoor use.
