Scallop Rattan Basket

A hand-woven rattan basket in warm brown, with a generous scalloped form that ripples from base to rim. The body is woven in a fine open weave with vertical ribbing, while the fitted lid mirrors the scalloped outline and is worked in a tighter concentric pattern. A beautifully considered piece.
